Come meet the new owner of Aloha Theatre, Lynn Danaher. She will be sharing her intentions for renovating the old building in the center of Hanapēpē Town.
We will spend the remainder of the meeting to prepare for these upcoming meetings/workshops:
- County of Kauaʻi Planning Department’s West Kauaʻi Community Plan workshops on ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT. Mar. 27 (Wed.) 5-7 pm at Hanapēpē Public Library and Mar. 28 (Thurs.( 5-7 pm at Kekaha Neighborhood Center.
- The sixth session of the Univ. of Hawaiʻi Vulnerability Assessment will be on CULTURAL RESOURCES. April 1 (Mon.) , 3:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Waimea Tech Center. If you wish to be on the project’s email list, contact Alisha Summers at alishaks@hawaii.edu
—The County Fire Dept. is offering free CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) instruction in ʻEleʻele. You, family members, and friends are invited to the 24-hour basic training on disaster preparation, fire safety, emergency medical response, communicating during emergencies, etc. Training starts on April 3 (Wed.), 2019 and is held 1 night per week. Classes will be held at the ʻEleʻele Elementary School Library at 4750 Uliuli Rd. Eleele, Hi 96705, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. The class dates are:April 3, April 10, April 17, April 24, May 1, May 8
